BRAZIL: ANATEL Publishes Proposal to Update Technical Requirements for the Conformity Assessment of Restricted Radiation Radio-communication Equipment.

On July 20^th, 2020: ANATEL issued Public Consultation 54 where opens to public consultation comments for the technical requirements of Restricted Radiation Radiocommunication equipment, as follow:

• Radar Systems
• Wireless local area networks in frequencies 5.150-5.350 MHz and 5.850-5.895 MHz
• Vehicles communication systems in the frequencies 5.850-5.925 MHz
• Wireless multigigabit systems (WiGig) in the frequencies 57-71 GHz
• Media access sharing systems like Listen Before Talk (LBT)

The regulation to be reviewed is Act No. 14448 from December 4th, 2017. The date for final comments is August 24th, 2020
