The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) released Circular 08/2021/TT-BTTTT to replace Circular 46/2016/TT-BTTTT. The Circular lists license-exempt radio devices and accompanying technical and operational conditions.
The main features of this Circular are:
- Devices that do not meet the criteria can be imported first and then adjusted before applying for In-country test
- Several frequency bands were added and removed from the list
- Frequency added for UWB devices 7238.4 – 9000 MHz
- Partial concordance with ERC Recommendation – 70-03
The Circular will take effect from November 28th, 2021.
