UNITED STATES: Updated transition period for RF Exposure Requirements

On January 17th, 2023, the FCC postponed indefinitely the entry into force of the new RF Exposure requirements. Both “447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance v01” and “KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06” can be used, but only one of them should be used (without mixing the frameworks)

After the end of the transition period, all applications must only use new procedures which will be published as “447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v07”, replacing “447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06.” When the new 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v07 becomes available.

FCC is committed to notify when the end of this transition period comes.
