UNITED STATES: Public Consultation for WMAS in TV Bands, Guard Bands and other 900 MHz Bands

Back

The FCC has open comments for an NPRM (notice proposed rulemaking) to the allocation for WMAS (Wireless Multi-Channel Audio System) and Wireless Microphones to be used in the TV bands, Guard Band, several 900 MHz bands, 1.5 GHz, 6 GHz, and 7 GHz. The purpose is to make efficient use of the spectrum by revising the current technical rules of operation in the LPAS (low power auxiliary station) among other licensed frequency bands. Also, this proposal will affect the current LPAS and wireless microphone rules. You can submit comments directly to https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/filings?proceedings_name=20-115 until August 2nd, 2021. Reply comments are due August 30th, 2021.
