The Radio Research Agency (RRA) of Korea announced recently plans to have a public hearing regarding the Technical Standards draft for 5G in 28GHz band. This draft highlights that Korea will be allocating 3.5GHz with 300MHz bandwidth and 28GHz with 3GHz bandwidth. No technical requirements have been released regarding the 3.5GHz band. Additionally, the 5G band auction has not begun as of yet in Korea and therefore there is no current detailed information available regarding the technical requirements or allocated frequency bands.
