SENEGAL: ARTP Issues Decision No. 2022-004 Regarding Operating Conditions for SRDs

In March of 2022, the authority ARTP from Senegal issued a decision about the operating conditions for SRD (Short Range Devices). 

These are the key points of this decision:

1. This decision lists the technical requirements that SRD must comply with. In case these conditions are not respected by manufacturers, ARTP reserves the right to take the corresponding actions. 

2. In Annex 1 of the document, it can be found the category for SRD the authority defined, as well as the technical conditions for each frequency range. This equipment must not interfere with certain frequencies. 

3. ARTP reserves the right to update this list whenever it is necessary.

4. The following equipment is exempted from ARTP approval:

·         Analog televisions

·         Switches without RF function
