SAUDI ARABIA: CITC Publishes Public Consultation on Spectrum Trading and Secondary Market

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) published a public consultation on Spectrum Trading and Secondary Market. The purpose of this public consultation is to provide interested parties with an opportunity to submit their views on spectrum trading and associated secondary market activities. With reference to international best practice, the document outlines the principles which will underlie CITC’s approach to spectrum trading, considers the range of possible options, and makes proposals for step-by-step policy implementation. CITC is inviting all parties nationally and internationally including users, ICT providers, investors, industrial and public entities to provide their feedback and comments by 12 August 2021.
