SAUDI ARABIA: CITC Decides on Adoption of the Document Regulations on Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), after receiving the comments on the Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) public consultation, has decided:

1-  To adopt the document ” Regulations on Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields ” as reflected in this Resolution.
2- That the document ” Regulations on Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields ” referred to in Paragraph “First” shall replace the document “National Guidelines for Human Exposure to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields” and shall enter into force as of 28/05/1443 AH corresponding to 01/01/2022 AD.
3- That the document “National Guidelines for Human Exposure to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields” referred to in Paragraph “Second” above shall continue in force until the date of entry into force of the ” Regulations on Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields” document.
4- That this Resolution shall be published on CITC’s website.
