Malaysia: New Class Assignment No.1 of 2024 published by MCMC Malaysia

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has released the Class Assignment No.1 of 2024 on March 5th, 2024, superseding the previous one, Class Assignment No. 1 of 2023.

It outlines the permitted use of radio frequency bands for various Radio Frequency (RF) devices in Malaysia.

The document specifies 30 categories of devices, including common ones like mobile and broadband devices (Schedule 1) and Short-Range Radiocommunication Devices (SRDs) (Schedule 2)

Each schedule details the specific applications, frequency bands, and maximum transmit power allowed for that device category.

This information is crucial for equipment manufacturers, importers, and anyone deploying RF devices in Malaysia to ensure compliance.
