COLOMBIA: Clarifications About CRC Homologation Process

Back

According to the Colombian CRC, the last modification to the homologation process was the Resolution CRC 4668 2016, which establishes technical conditions for equipments in order to obtain the homologation certificate. In addition, the Resolution CRC 4507 2014, is still under the WTO revision in order to validate it with the international normative. Once this Resolution comes into force, it will establish the applicable norms and standards for terminal equipment homologation, including voice and data devices.  You can see attached the comments from the Regulator with some updates so far.
