CHILE: Advancement in Defining a Regulatory Framework for Cybersecurity Matters in The Country.

Back

The Cybersecurity Marco Law project was recently approved by the Senate and is currently being analyzed by the Government, Decentralization and Regionalization Commission, and the Finance Commission. This project seeks to establish the first guidelines and basic mechanisms that allow structuring, regulating, and coordinating the cybersecurity actions of the State Administration bodies and between them and individuals.

So far, this law does not have an impact on the conformity assessment procedures, nor does it establish additional requirements related to cybersecurity for equipment that will be marketed in the country.
