PAKISTAN: Entering 5G Era

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) draft a framework for test and development of future technologies especially for fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks in Pakistan. PTA will issue temporary 5G Test and Development Authorizations, also PTA reports that there is no regulatory fee for the non-commercial trial permission or the usage of spectrum for this purpose.
