This is a reminder in regards to the Safety certification in Argentina. According to the Article 9 from the Resolution SC N° 169/2018, as of January 1, 2020, the product safety certification shall be carried out exclusively in accordance with the System No. 5 of Conformity Mark, or System No. 7 of Lot when applicable.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Authority may authorize the product safety certification by System No. 4 (type certification). Until December 31st, 2019 (inclusive), the System No. 4 of type, or the System No. 5 of conformity mark or the System No. 7 of the lot, maybe used when applicable, as established in Article 1 of Resolution No. 197/2004 of the former Secretariat Of Coordination Technique of the former Ministry of Economy and Production.
