Authority issued a draft SRRC regulation “Notice on new technical requirements and testing methods for WLAN Devices Using IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) technical standards” on June 1, 2023. This public consultation is focused on the sharing of spectrum between the new Wi-Fi standard and existing 5G infrastructure using the 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies. If you have any suggestions, please give feedback before July 1, 2023. 

Here are some key information we would like to share with you:

  1. Scope of operation frequency: 2400-2483.5MHz, 5150-5350MHz, and 5725-5850MHz.
  2. The limitation of output power: the maximum output power is not greater than -80dBm/Hz.
