On Oct 07th, 2022, ANATEL published a letter containing supplementary instructions for certification of RF modules included in telecom and non-telecom products.
These instructions cover all scenarios for products containing one or more RF modules on it. The scenarios are:
- non-telecom and telecom products that contain RF modules;
- products with one or more slots;
- modules exchangeable or not;
- modules with same or different technologies.
For each combination, ANATEL defined a specific orientation regarding the number of certificates applicable and the particular rules related to documents required, labeling, and renewal process.
