Brazilian agency ANATEL issued an official document updating the exception for renewals due to Coronavirus. For all renewals with no changes in the equipment that the certificate will expire until July 31st. 2022 It will accept only a Renewal Letter, no further documents or pictures are needed. The same date is applied to remote factory audits and remote monitoring of laboratory tests.
Type Approval affected? Yes. For certificate maintenance, ANATEL will only request a declaration from the customer skipping test reports, internal pictures, and external pictures. Anatel will also accept factories’ remote audits.
