HONG KONG: OFCA Table of Frequency Allocations 2021 Update

The Office of the Communications Authority of Hong Kong (OFCA) has published the 2021 Table of Frequency Allocations.

Some of the main updates include:

– 156MHz to 162MHz – Maritime Mobile band
– 415 – 495 kHz and 505 – 526.5 kHz – Limited to radiotelegraphy and may also be used for the NAVDAT system to go in the same direction as the Recommendation ITU-R M.2010
– 495 – 505 kHz – used for NAVDTA system, also to go in the same direction as the Recommendation ITU-R M.2010
– 4063 – 4123 kHz and 4130 – 4438 kHz – used by stations in the fixed service, only communicating within the country area
– 5470 – 5725 MHz – stations in the mobile service shall not claim protection from radiodetermination services
– 24.25 – 27.5 GHz / 66 – 71 GHz – to be used to implement the terrestrial component of IMT
