Entirety reports on February 7, 2019, ISED of Canada (Department of Innovation, Sciences, and Economic Development) released a notice via their website proposing industries have until December 31st, 2019 to ensure that external thermostats sold, offered for sale, manufactured, imported, distributed or leased are in compliance with ICES-003. The scope of this consultations is for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) including radio interference. The final date for comments is April 5th, 2019.
